This record started at a Philadelphia venue. The moral of the story is be nice to your sound person you never know when you are gonna write a song together.
Okay in all seriousness, Going is the first song I wrote to start collaborating with others. Sam and I met at a coffee shop and had a series of jam sessions and ended up writing a song about never giving up on yourself.
lyrics
Brian
Do you like what you see?
Do you know what you need?
I hope you’re alright, I hope you’re alright
Sam
I’ll keep sweeping skeletons under the rug
Until I get what I want
Brian
Practice patience(you can keep them waiting (Sam)
Find your grace
Make yourself
Right
Sam
I can’t stop or pause my fight
I love the confrontation
Brian
Turn the other cheek
Its not so weak
Youll beat the odds that way.
And we’ll start to run
And we're are goin
Sam
I haven’t much taste for the sun
It’s always laughing at me
Brian
Maybe you should go and run
Leave the door right now (wide open)
Sam
Id bargain away all my tries
Just to find my right place
Brian
I hope you see the truth
In everything around you
You will find your way someway
